Drupal For The Win!

So apparently Drupal is the best CMS ever, and I must say IT IS! It has all the functionality that one would expect from a CMS. It has default modules installed, which keep Drupal up and running nicely and efficiently. It does have a bit of a steep learning curve to figure out what is going on, but that steep learning curve is quickly overcome.

As I said above, Drupal is awesome. I wanted to add in my Google AdSense, so I manually edited the template files and all was well and good. But I didn't like the way it "worked", so I did some investigating and it turns out there is a Google AdSense module for Drupal.

So I downloaded the module, followed the instructions and put the module in the modules folder, went into the admin section, followed the onscreen instructions, and voila! I now have Google ads on my site, and personally in a much better way than the way I had manually done it.

Also, I found a nice backup module that can do backups of ALL of Drupal's files and the Drupal database.

So yeah, like I said, Drupal is awesome! And it will save the world.
