Ubuntu 8.10 Install

Today I installed the new Ubuntu Linux to my laptop. Everyone remembers the issues I had with 8.04 [and if you don't, read some of my past stories on the subject, there are a few]. So far, the install has been very very smooth.

Ubuntu 8.04 and Media Keys

In my ongoing series of articles I've written about Ubuntu 8.04 I've described some of the issues I've had with it "out of the box" so to speak. Now don't get me wrong, with some tweaking I've managed to get everything fully functioning and running smoothly. Except my media keys on my HP laptop.

Sun + Ubuntu = Good?

Sun Microsystems is soon going to start offering servers with Ubuntu Server installed on them. With all that Sun Microsystems has to offer, is this move worth it all?

Firefox 3 Beta 3

Lately I've been having some issues with Firefox taking up all memory and increasing the swap file to almost full capacity as well as running a huge processor load. At first, I figured I might have to use Opera or something else. I tried Swiftfox, but it didn't support some of my extensions. So then what?
